The Windows Defender Firewall can sometimes restrict Steam Remote Play from initiating contact with your smartphone or tablet. Windows Defender Firewall is a security feature built into Windows that permits or denies programs on your computer from making outgoing or incoming connections. Allow Steam Through the Windows Defender Firewall If Steam Remote Play is still not working after unpairing and repairing your phone or tablet, you may move on to more advanced solutions.
